Monday, November 10, 2014 - "Parlimen Malaysia Kebanggaanku". That is the title of the song composed by Pn. Nuraishah Abdullah, who was crowned champion in the Parliament of Malaysia’s Song Writing Competition held in conjunction with the celebration of 50th Anniversary of Parliament Building. The song was launched by Datuk Lamien Sawiyo, Chief Administrator of Parliament of Malaysia during the ceremony.
The ceremony was jointly organized by the Corporate Communications Division together with the International Relations and Protocol Division. Also present were Dato' Mokhzani Ismail, Director of Music Services Division, Department of Broadcasting Malaysia, Datuk Roosme Hamzah, Secretary of the House of Representatives, En. Awang Alik Jeman, Deputy Chief Administrator of Parliament of Malaysia and En. Riduan Rahmat, Secretary of the Senate.
The theme chosen was "Parlimen Kita, Ekspresi kita” or “Our Parliament, Our Expression” which is suited with the launching of the department's official song. The prize giving ceremony to the winners of the Song Writing Competition was also held where the Chief Administrator of Parliament of Malaysia gave away the prizes.
