DEPUTY SPEAKER I OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES RECEIVED A COURTESY CALL FROM GHANA

PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA, 18 June 2015 - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee received a courtesy call from a 14-member delegation from Ghana at the Parliament House today.

Commenting about the courtesy call, Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee informed that the delegation consists of fourteen members, nine Members of the Parliament of Ghana and five from Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).

The meeting took 40 minutes, where both sides exchanged ideas and experiences on parliamentary systems in their respective countries.

"They want to strengthen bilateral relations between the members of the Parliament of Ghana and Malaysia and also invited us for a visit to the Parliament of Ghana," said Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee.

The Ghana Parliament's delegation was headed by Cletus Apul Avoka while GNPC,  by Carmen Bruce-Annan.
