PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA, 18 January – HE Senator Dato' Sri SA. Vigneswaran, the President of the Senate (YPDN) today received a courtesy call from HE Herman Prayitno, Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia at his office, here at 11.30am.

The courtesy call was actually a farewell visit by HE Herman Prayitno who will end his duties as Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia on 31 January.
HE Senator Dato' Sri SA. Vigneswaran, President of the Senate having discussion with HE Herman Prayitno, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia during a meeting at his office.
HE Herman Prayitno who has been in office since November 2012 hoped that his successor, HE Rusdi Kirana, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia will continue to foster close cooperation between the two nations.
HE Senator Dato' Sri SA. Vigneswaran, the President of the Senate received a souvenir from HE Herman Prayitno, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia.
Meanwhile, HE Senator Dato' Sri SA. Vigneswaran said he will ask the President of the Malaysian Senators’ Council to meet with the new Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia after he has begun his new duties for the purpose of to continue the relation and friendship between the two nations.
