MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION MEETING PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA

Monday, April 7, 2014 - Dato' Lamien Sawiyo , Chief Administrator of Parliament chaired the meeting of Joint Department Council (MBJ), Management Meeting and Integrity of Governance Committee Meeting ( JKTU ) Parliament of Malaysia at Committee Room 1 on 4 April 2014, 9 am. Also present were Datuk  Roosme Hamzah, Secretary of the House of Representatives and Datuk Zamani Sulaiman, Secretary of the Senate .

MBJ Meeting No. 1/2014 was attended by the management and staff’s representatives. The agenda of the meeting include welcoming address by MBJ Chairman, speeches from Chairman of the Staff’s Representatives, adopting the Minutes of MBJ No. 3/2013 and discussion on motions from the staff.  Various issues concerning welfare of staff were discussed. Through this meeting, the staff have the right channel to voice out the problems they faced to top management.

Management meeting was also held and attended by senior management of Parliament of Malaysia. Various matters were discussed including calendar of courses to be carried out by Parliament, leave management, HRMIS, annual work targets (SKT),  annual performance evaluation report ( LNPT ) and others.
 
JKTU Meeting No. 2/2014 was held at 11.30 am. Among the agenda were matters arising such as attendance of officers and staff of Parliament, procedures in answering email inquiries and other related matters. The meeting ended at about 12.30 pm.
