PARLIAMENT OF MALAYSIA, 25 March – The Ninth Annual General Meeting of the Sports and Welfare Club of Parliament of Malaysia (KKSPM) 2016/2018 Session which began at 9 am was chaired by the new President of KKSPM, Datuk Zamani bin Sulaiman.

The Annual General Meeting was attended by about 130 members of KKSPM and it was held in the Briefing Room, Temporary Block, Parliament of Malaysia. Also present were Datuk Awang Alik Jeman (Chief Administrator of Parliament of Malaysia), Datuk Roosme Hamzah (Secretary of the House of Representatives) and Encik Riduan Rahmat (Secretary of the Senate).

In his welcoming remarks, Datuk Awang Alik Jeman as KKSPM’s Advisor, he expects that KKSPM will organize more activities and becomes a medium to unite Parliament staff. He also suggested that KKSPM be given a new name suitable with current times.
Among the agenda of the general meeting are the presentation of financial report and reports from every Bureau, the dissolution of the 2014/2016 committee and appointment of new committee members for the 2016/2018 session.
