Wednesday, 1 July 2015 – Honourable Senator Hajah Khairiah Mohamed sworn in for the second term before His Excellency Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang, President of the Senate at 10am today.

YHonourable Senator Hajah Khairiah Mohamed was born on 4 August 1974 and graduated with Bachelor of Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She has held the position of the Deputy Permanent Chairperson of PAS’ Dewan Muslimat (Kelantan) and also as Chief of Legal Advisory Division for Kota Bharu Municipal Council.

In his speech of welcoming the appointment of new member, the President of the Senate has reminded all Senators to always strive to understand, appreciate and defend the Constitution.
