The Opening of the Sixth Session of The Thirteenth Parliament of Malaysia was held on 5 March. The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Muhammad V gave his royal speech during the opening of the First Meeting of the Sixth Session of the Thirteenth Parliament. Also present were the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and the Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. This parliament sitting would be the last meeting before the 14th General Election.
