  The Dewan Rakyat has approved the setting up of a Select Committee to review the Penal Code (Amendment)2004 and Criminal Procedure Code (Amendment)2004 bills and to make recommendations.

The Dewan Rakyat has approved the setting up of a Select Committee on National Unity and National Service to discuss matters pertaining to racial solidarity and national integration as well as the National Service Training Programme and to make recommendation.
